This week on Motorsports Unlimited....:)

I was just going to P/M this to Bill. But then thought that someone else might enjoy it....This week on "Motorsports Unlimited". They are covering the Motorcycle Flat Track Racing that they used to have at the old Sante Fe Speedway in Burr Ridge. (Now gone in favor of Big ass houses.... Like everything alse these days! )

But, they used to run Flat Track Motorcycle races every Wednesday Nights, or on Weekends for Special races. 1/4 and 1/2 Mile. And TT.(Tourist Trophy) On the Clay Track. From 1950 until they closed down the Race Track. They show some really cool old Motorcycles. Mostly the old XR750 or XR1000 Harleys. But also Triumph, BSA, Yamaha-just about anything. And, the guys who raced them. Who are Old Timers, now. But they show some great pictures, Vintage Film, and talk to these old guys. They also show Bill Wildt when he was a Motorcycle racer there. Pretty funny.

So try to catch "Motorsports Unlimited" on your local Cable access channel this week. You can also check their Website at: www.msutv.com for air dates and times.

BTW....They used to hold all sorts of Car racing there,too. Mostly on the weekends. But I raced a 1965 Impala there!....
