My wife fell asleep when we netflixed the original Thomas Crown Affair a few years ago.

The remake is definitely one of Brosnan's better films, and thats a great scene.

 

according to brosnan, they have been working on a sequel, which the script had taken several re-writes to get correct.....they might even be filming it now?

I think that the song is called "Sinnerman"; I had it on my Ipod for awhile. Now I'll go download it again, as I think that it's a cool song. That movie is awesome!!

 

they did in fact use a remix version of "sinner man" sung originally by Nina Simone, but the original song pre-dates her, an oldtime spiritual song, original author unknown

the same remix was used again in the miami vice movie (2006)
