I don't think Lawrence Auriana is Joe Colasacco's uncle. Joe is a seriously fast driver in historic racing, especially in single-seaters.
Colasacco in the 1512 had an epic battle with Andy Middlehurst in the Lotus 25 at Revival in 2018. For some reason this video doesn’t show the finish, but it gives a flavor of the race. Spoiler below Joe won.
I haven't seen the Octane Magazine featuring 9437 yet, but last year at my work i was talking to Mr. Norman Jewison and asked him whose decision was it to feature this Ferrari in Thomas Crown and he told me it was his. Here the car on the Lawn at Pebble Beach in 95. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Argh I asked people how to reach him when preparing the article, was told he would be very old...I would have given my left you know what to talk with him and record his memories...but I still got quite a few people's quotes into the article with so few words allowed nowadays....
You mean 1998 (16 August), not 1995. 09437 was shown in the Scaglietti coachwork class at Pebble Beach 1998 by then owner Bruce Lustman. It is standing here next to 0666 TR, the 250 TR pontoon fender Spider owned at the time by Charles Betz. Marcel Massini
You might Be right Marcel, it's been a long time and i used prints at the time so difficult to see the print date. Thank you as always.
Marc he is a very gracious man and i am sure he would love to talk to you. I usually see him once a week when he resides in California during winter months and would be glad to arrange a meeting. all our work is shut down at the moment so not sure when i get a chance to see him before he moves back to Vancouver.
