Thomas fire continues to spread, are F-chatters safe?

    As many have seen on the news, the Thomas fire continues to spread affecting Carpenteria, Montecito and Santa Barbara.

    I know of at least one F-chatter that lives there, Bob Callahan who has been inactive for a couple of years.

    I hope for his sake and many others they are safe and that the new year begins with blessings of safety and disaster averted.

    There are several of us up here and everyone is OK. Many of us got our cars moved to safe locations well in advance of the fire. The picture is from one of the more difficult relocations for a Muira that was undergoing a disassembly in preparation for a restoration. Unfortunately, it had no suspension or engine so the move was more difficult but we got it out and to a safe place.

    The firefighters have been amazing and literally parked the fire trucks at homes in danger and fought the flames away. They are the true heroes.

    Unfortunately, Bob Callahan passed away a couple of years ago. He is missed.
