Thorough System Flush

    I am preparing to thoroughly flush my coolant system on my 2.7 f355.............can somebody tell me the best way to do this or point me to a link that shows me how?

    If you want to be thorough there are 2 plugs at the bottom of each radiator pull those. There are 2 plugs one on each side of the block (right side)one near the Alt. and 1 (left side)at the #5 cylinder area. About 1/2 of the coolant is in the block, also draining the block removes the sediment that can collect in the bottom of the passages. I also drain the heater, there are about 2 qts. in that system. The 355 coolant system is self bleeding. On that note always change the 2 small hoses that are on top of and on the frt of the overflow tank, use a silicon hose.
    In any car I always measure the amount of fluid I take out so I know what to put back in and to also know what I haven't removed ie; if the system holds 3 gals then you need to take out/refill with 3 and so on.
