    I left the FoCNJ F1 party after the race, just after a string of Ferrari’s as well as some additional performance cars driving North on Rt1. I was thoroughly embarrassed and shocked by the driving style of the group. The constant weaving in and out, cutting off other drivers, and tailgating. It looked like a scene from The Fast and the Furious. As I made my way to lights in traffic, people were yelling at me, “All of you rich are ******”, “You drive like A-holes”, “Can’t wait to crash that piece of Sh#t”.

    Many people were out shopping with their families on this VERY busy and Crowded road, and it was just inappropriate. I have raced on the track for years, and drive at a good clip in the appropriate places, but not like that. I have also ridden motorcycles for years, and always ride in a well organized formation that does not terrorize other drivers.

    Unfortunately, the State Police, or local police will begin to hand out tickets just for being in a high performance car or G-d forbid, someone causes a serious accident that ends up on the TV news, or lands the driver in jail.

    Guy’s, I enjoy the performance of the cars, and try to keep my playing to the track, but people already are jealous of anyone driving a car like this. Let’s not give them more of a reason to dislike us.

    For those guys with the Ferrari’s, join us on the track next year. You will really enjoy yourself, and learn how to drive the car the way it was meant to.

    know waht u mean, it weren't us, we did not go nuts until we got on turnpike :D
    but on the 2nd thought, i get tix anyway without doing a thing wrong(ask the crew about the BS tix after CIN dinner in garden city, not only BS tix but got the wrong guy too lol), so if i do some "questionable" drving, they owe it to me.

    but seriously, i think we all need to be more careful of where and when we
    push our cars. not promoting it but on the turnpike ok, on route 1/9 or
    a busy commercial street like that not too smart.

    Actually he was talking about us, as he was behing us while on that road. I don't think we did anything crazy as there was crazy traffic. But we did go in and out of the lanes but I just can't see cutting anyone off at 5 mph.

    I am shock that anyone actually yelled at you, as many cars stopped next to us also at the lights in traffic and didn't receieve any of that espeically when we were the ones actually committing the "crime"

    That being said, I agree with you 100% as far as not driving crazy in the public, but i guess that's just part of growing up we all have to do. A track day would be sweet, I tried to put on together but no one was really interested :(

    I sometimes drove that way when I was younger and had access to these cars, but got smarter whan I saw too many wrecks as well as the thought of being sued or in jail.

    I got most of the "heat" because I was behind the group.

    Now I and several others took note of the people zipping in & out of the parking lot...frequently in the 360s & Stradales. I saw more than a few flat-out accelerations on to and off from Rt. 1. Made me wonder too.

    we were all following lupe, and there was heavy traffic. i don't think i was out of 2nd gear and certainly no one yelled at me.
    on the turnpike it was different story although :D

    everyone likes their own thing. Some people like to drive fast on the street some like to drive slow. I personally laugh at the guys in any sports car doing 50 in the right lane. but to each his own. thats life, and i dont think this thread is going to change anyone's driving habits. I do agree the guys have to do more track events though. But so should I...
