Hi Guys, I haven't posted any of my artwork since last spring since I've been working on my Mondial all summer, so here goes...
My latest piece is a Ferrari 328. It's plasma cut steel, welded 1/2" off of a steel frame, air brushed vivid rosso corsa reds, with a Giclee' printed background of the Monaco water front behind.

I'll add another one next week.
This one will be hanging in my office for the next month.

    Hi,
Not to be picky, but looks more like a 208 Turbo with that lower NACA duct.

    cheers,
    Greg

Yes, you're exactly right, it is a turbocharged model. The correct name of the model is "GTS Turbo", which was only sold in Italy from 1986-89 (according to Cavallino magazine). Ferrari dropped the engine number designation to avoid confusion, since the car actually had a turbocharged 308 engine in a 328 body. The 208 Turbo was manufactured from 1982-85 and was a 208 engine in a 308 body. Same thing, just a few years earlier.

Forgive my earlier typo, so you agree it isn't a 328? ;)

Yes, I agree, it's not a 328. I think most people would call it a 328 though, since that's the style of the body.

I pushed and got all the rest of the "Stuff I Did This Summer" photographed, and decided to post it all at once and move on to some new stuff. A friend of mine wants a couple of small plaques of his cars, so I'm going to do that next.

    Later guys!
