    I love watching things being made the old school way, by hand. Pouring the engine castings, fitting the panels, leading the gaps, etc. This is why classic Ferraris got soul, and the new ones built by robots don't. :D

    Thanks Mike, that's an amazing video. In the past when someone's spouted-off about our cars being from the era of "the last hand-built Ferraris", and/or claimed that "No two are exactly alike", I've always rolled my eyes a little (OK, a lot). I would think to myself that maybe the 206 and 275 could fall into that category, but certainly nothing past the FIAT era. But this gave me a new appreciation for just how much hand finishing went into our cars. I'm still not ready to consider a 308 in the same light as the Rossellini 375, but I also don't think I'll ever look at the 308 in quite the same way ever again.
