Thoughts on 488 Pista Best Color Option? Best Stripe Choice?

I find that Pista is beautiful in yellow, I like it. I'm almost determined to configure it like this.

I think Giallo is one of the best best colours on 488 GTB so am not surprised that it suits the Pista.
Not sure I will be that brave though !

 

Dream spec: Blu Elettrico, white stripes, silver wheels, red calipers, "70th Anniversary The Heartthrob" interior including red seats.

 

A naive question but practical one: stripes are painted on top of the base color then a clear coat is applied on everything meaning that you don't feel the transition between the base color and the stripe. Looks and feels nicer than add on stickers but what happens when you need to repaint the bumper or bonnet ? Any Ferrari dealer paint shop can do it ? Do they send the stuff back to Maranello ? Track days and spirited drives on twisted roads will generate stone chips or terrible rubber marks and will ultimately require a paint job. Films to protect are not for everyone...I am interested by the real life experience of Speciale owners on that aspect. Garage queens excepted.

Mine will be white with PTN3 grey with single blue stripe. Silver wheel with red caliper. Back interior with red stitching.

 

You do not feel a transition between stripes and rest of the car. Dealer *could* paint on on it great expense but competent ones can repair the chips in a stripe. I clear bra all stripes on all cars as to not deal with rock chips.
