    Hey Guys...
Im looking at purchasing an RS-4 for my wife. She needs the room of a wagon for her business and also cause i wouldn't mind all that extra power. My wife is a sensible driver so im not worried about her losing it.
But have you guys had any experience with the car?
What would you suggest as alternatives? RS6? BMW? Merc? even a Subaru Liberty (Legacy)?
I initially looked at the BMW, due to the fact that i can get discounts on them, but i didnt like it.
Anyways, here is the funny bit for all you Americans, the price is $158,219.80 USD!!! Is that expensive or what!!! And that is second hand!!
Any help guys, that would be so appreciated!
    Cheers!

So I've learned from our Aussie brethren sharing Ferrari and Lambo prices. Darn shame. Is it duty/taxes or merely profiteering a captive RHD market?

    Profiteering the whole way mate!
A ferrari out here? You have to be REAL rich to even have a 355!!!
That's whats stopping me getting an F-car. Way too pricey here! Mind you, for about 1.3M AUD, i could have had F50 GT-1 #3. That was a pretty good price for i think.

You think it's bad in Australia, I live in Brasil and a new Ferrari 360 Modena costs around US$400,000+!! Most of that is tariffs, not profit. There are many wealthy people in the city that I live, I have seen may Ferraris, all euro models, white 355GTS, black 355GTS, red 355GTB, red 355 spider, and one red 360 Modena F1. I see Ferraris more often down here than I did when I lived in New Jersey. The owners really use them often, they are very impressive among a bunch of one-liter four cylinder VW's/Fiats, and 125cc motorcycles.

So what did your M3 set you back, $250,000?!?

For a wagon, I think the RS4 and RS6 are hard to beat. I would personally go for the RS6, a little bigger and a lot more hp.

where in Brazil do you live? I'd be scared for my life driving anything like that in Brazil. I hardly even saw a single Benz in Rio.

For those of you that think Brasil is bad, well how about this.

4 door 2 year old S class with the 320 motor (6 cylinder), they don't sell that in the states even, about 207K US$

4 door new Range Rover base model (not HSE), 417K US $

    Lexus Ls400 2001 model 186K US $

    Toyota 4 Runner, LE model, 4wd, 110K US $

Where you ask people pay such ludicrious prices? Bangladesh, my friends.

Curitiba, Paraná, Brasil; it is a much safer city than Rio. People in Rio try to keep a lower profile so as to not attract unwanted attention. Well to do people drive around in armored VW Golfs, Passats, Audi A3's, etc, the less shy in armored Volvos, Benzes, BMW's, and Audi A6's.

Ha ha! If you are going on a road trip then you should worry more about the pot-holes in the rural areas.
