Thoughts on color combo for appreciation / resale?

The other life lesson I learned was in the future to only have Agreed Value coverage insurance. At the time of loss I didn't and got way less than the car was worth and literally a year's fight with my insurance company.

 

Agree fully. No pun intended! I also learned that when the adjuster wants to total a custom car. Let them.

I really wish I took the offer to total my car rather than repaint it. For me the body work was a 3 year long saga that had no good outcome.

The shop that painted it had won a SEMA award for “best paint” on the same year and model car. My car however, was not up to my standards.

This car I actually drove 5 miles before someone caused an accident. I had chased the car for 20 years and finally acquired it, for that reason alone I pushed the adjuster to repair and repaint it.

After 35k for the work and 3 times back to shop it still is full of Bondo and wavy. Just sucks.

Could be worse I suppose. At least it was not a Ferrari!
