Looking into a new camera. Both D7000 and D300s. Would replace my D90. Anyone have experience with these? I want something that I can shoot really good HD video with as well. Thank you
This is pretty comprehensive. http://artoftheimage.blogspot.com/2011/01/comparing-nikon-d7000-vs-nikon-d300s.html I've had a D7000 for over a year and a half and love it. The HD video is quite good, and I've used it professionally for that. There is a 20-minute time limit on video to prevent overheating, but I think that's pretty much standard for DSLRs, and it's not a problem for the type of shooting I do. I use a RODE Videomic (external microphone) which I highly recommend. Here's one of my D7000 videos (not HD on Youtube, obviously). [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPfmldEQOcE&feature=relmfu[/ame]
