I would offer $104k for it. 2007 with CCB is $160k in the current market, this one is an off color (black/borbeaux) so that's -$10k. F430 tend to take a $2,000 per every 1,000 miles, that's -$46k.

$104k is a fair offer if everything else checks out.

I think it is? seems to be a lot for the market and the other 430s out there, I haven't seen many 2007s with kind of mileage.

To be honest with you, you can use that to your advantage. If you're planning on driving the car a lot, its already got significant mileage.

I like the car but the interior is a bit of an acquired taste. Sometimes its good to be different.

Whew! 104 huh?? he claims his reserve is at his buy it now... I know that isn't ground truth but 25K less than his BIN, I have to believe this dealer would be in the hole... Interesting assessment though. Thanks for your input!

My thoughts exactly... the garage queen sentiment is already teased out and I'd be driving the paint off of her! Yep the interior is still the wild card factor but I do like that it is all Carbon Fibered up...

The F430 is an excellent car. 20K miles does not bother me at all as long as it's been well maintained. You need to check the clutch wear and the CCB wear as those could be big expenses that could come up. I have CCB's and I love them.

I don't think you will be able to purchase for 104. YOu can make that your starting offer and see where it takes you.

The all red interior is distinctive but not that desireable to the general masses. But if you like it, that's all that matters. Good luck.

Call me crazy but I think that interior is gorgeous. Very stunning and I wouldn't think twice if I were in the market, works especially well with the black exterior.

As BB says the interior will polarize opinions; some will love it, some won't. Upon resale you'll limit your buyers but I'm sure you'll find some who love it, and we don't buy these cars for resale anyways.

Agreed, I don't think it is possible to purchase the car for that price... I don't how someone come with that amount but it is not realistic. As long as you like the car, you make the final call...personally sometimes I don't mind to pay for extra something I really wanted...especailly if it is worth it.

Yeah I kind of like the interior as well.

So if the F1 tranny is coming up and the CCBs need new pads what am I looking at? From what I've read on this board the CCBs should wear fairly well.

I figure I I get a PPI done I'll have a better idea of what can be addressed under warranty and what I'll have to plan into my offer price if things look like I have to work on it over the next year or two. Thanks for all the help guys! This forum has been awesome :)

Geez, my car has 17K on it. It seems to run better all the time and the interior is still like new but I guess I'll have to scrap it once it hits 20K!

IMO, the interior color is what keeps this car from selling. If you like it, great, you can save a lot of money. Even those who claim they like it OK would likely pass and buy something else.

I really like the interior. Especially the black inserts in the daytona seats. I think it works great w/ the nero exterior. Too bad I'm not in the market right now. I've tried dealing w/ those guys on a 355 last year. It doesn't seem like they like to move from their asking price. Good luck w/ your purchase.

    "20k is high miles"

    when will this perception end?

I actually would look between 10-20k miles for a car and still consider is pretty new

There are just so many 355/360/430's on ebay and very few ever actually sell. They just keep reposting hoping someone will come up to their reserve price.

In Europe people drive their Ferraris for a lot longer.

Check the ads in autotrader and ebay (UK), Germany, Italy. 360 Modena with over 60,000 miles are not rare, and we know they require more maintenance than the F430.

The F430 uses a german transmission, german suspension and electronics, Brembo brakes. These same manufactures work with Mercedes, Porsche, Audi and those cars are rock solid beyond 100,000 miles.

With the right maintenance, a F430 will run quite well beyond 100,000 miles. These cars get babied a lot compared to other cars, that makes them even more reliable on the used market.

Good lord, what a beautiful looking F430! That's one of my favorite color combinations on it. Hopefully someone snaps this up and enjoys it!

Haha! Nice... Well the seller is less than responsive can't get anything out of this dude... So I'm completely in the dark as to what kind of condition the ride really is in. We'll see... and will keep everyone posted. Thanks again for all the help :)
