Thoughts on this modified Ferrari 488?

    I just saw the pictures. From the posts, it sounded like the car had these huge fender flares riveted onto the original fenders. I'm wondering if these small front things are simply held on by thin double-sided tape. If that were the case and you could safely remove them when you wanted to sell the car, that wouldn't be so bad. It really is a clean looking car. I think the rear wing is tasteful, not too large. I personally wouldn't do that, but I think it looks okay.

    Simply wrong. The poor execution of those guard additions. Is the owner a relative to J Bieber ?

    IMO there is a difference between modifying and butching a car.

    Very tone deaf first post, showing very little knowledge how the Ferrari market works. Hopefully we won't be subjected to a 2nd post.....

    The OP is doing the right thing walking away, there are hundreds of 488s available at any point of time, why be stuck with a value killer and be laughed at in public.

    Where is the bolt on wing and the screwed in louvers through the body panels? I don't see it. o_O

    No it doesn’t… wing is intergrated with side fenders and louvers are not screw on patio door screen and cut up JC Whitney 1978 Trans Am louvers
