Those are the TdF wheels. It's not just about the look. They are forged (super strong) and the lightest of all of the 812 wheels. I think they look fantastic!

Price seems a bit high relative to the looming depreciation once an 812 leaves the lot, but understand the ask due to the 2020 MY and low mileage

World is your oyster IMO searching for the right 812, I'd make sure it didn't have GPFs (not sure on MY 2020 there is a separate thread on how to check). I'd probably search for a 2018/2019 to guarantee the no GPF and race seats would be a must for me. YMMV

^^Thanks for the thoughts so far. I do like the wheels on close inspection. Car looks to have been built in mid '19, so pre-pandemic, and I like that. Also does not look to have GPF. Race seats are cool but I almost like the full electric better in a car like this.

Not that great of a discount for kind of a plain jane kind of 812. If it's your first one though the color scheme is pretty classic. It has enough options although is missing a few I would have added. I think you can probably find a better car but it depends on what you are looking for.

Resale red on resale tan. The options list is also a resale list with the main things being the lifter, and LED steering wheel. Sure it's $369k at 400 miles, but it's a bland Ferrari. So if that's for you, go for it!

It would be special for me as my first Ferrari and a chance to get something near new without being on 'the list' but I guess you're right. pretty bland.

Any first Ferrari will be a special Ferrari. @GameMaker said it more eloquently that it’s a classic color combo. For the most part it’s a bland spec, but there’s a reason people spec it for resale. It does sell well as the classic color combo!

There are going to be a lot of 812s for sale in the coming months as the GTS deliveries show up. You’ll probably be able to find close to what you’d have ordered with low miles. Ultimately it’s your choice, and it doesn’t matter what other people think of the spec.

Agree. Just have to find the right one. I keep waiting for a flood of used cars but it seems more like a trickle. It seems like the same cars have been at the same dealerships for the same prices for a long time.

812 GTS are starting to trickle in a bit more frequently. My local dealer just delivered their first. So perhaps that will get more people to be trading in soon.

Also, the 812SF is one hell of a car. I would keep it if I had gotten a GTS. I drove the GTS this week, and while it’s fun, I don’t fit great. There’s less room for a tall person, and I wasn’t too fond of the rear. So that could also cause some people to keep their 812SF to drive and the GTS to collect dust

That's not correct about the interior space in an SF vs GTS (I own both and am 6" 4"). Inside space is identical. The only difference might be the seats (race seats provide more headroom). Obviously the SF also has the parcel shelf for additional storage, but that doesn't affect the room for the passengers.

That's the way it goes with exotics. There aren't very many of them and once you have seen what's out there, you don't see new listings every day. The stuff that everyone would want sells fast. If you find something you like, other people will probably like it too so if you don't buy it, you will miss it.

I wouldn't call this a bland spec, but it's already a $43k discount to MSRP in the same model year. I don't know how that couldn't be considered a good deal. That's a 10% discount for 400 miles. It doesn't have a lot of excess CF that they want you to pay for and it does have the lifter. It's missing the sound upgrade but other than that, it's a good spec. I actually spec'd the 10 spoke wheels because I like them much better than the standard.

Based on the pictures, it doesn't have the GPF.

Purchased my 2019 Red/Nero 812 in May for $100K off list. It had $20K more in options and over 4K miles. Previous owner installed a 360 laser/radar detector and wrapped the whole car with XPel and Ceramic coating.
Based on my car you should be able to negotiate a better deal if it’s what you want.

Yours is a year older with 10 times the mileage, how do you consider that comparable?

I am also 6’4” and yes, it is slightly different. You do not get the same seat lean because you have a solid wall behind your seat vs a shelf that allows more lean. The race seat would be a better choice in the GTS as it will get you lower but I prefer the comfort seats. Since I was driving the demo car I didn’t spend a significant amount of time trying to find the perfect seating position. I was not able to feel like I could get the seat close to the same as my SF

They are offering the car at $43K off list. I received a similar car with ~$30K more in options for $100K off list. Six months of addItional depreciation have occurred. Even with the higher mileage and one year older I feel my deal indicates he can negotiate more than $43K off list.

I think if he waits longer and this car doesn't sell, he can get it for less but it won't be that much less unless it's 6 months or so. I looked at a 2019 last December with about the same list price and similarly configured. They were asking $379k on a $419k spec so $40k off. I didn't like the spec so I ordered one for myself and paid MSRP. That car continued to sit and eventually sold for $330k in April. Still not $100k off and by then it was a full year old. That car was on consignment as this one probably is too. Not all sellers are similarly motivated.

I suppose my deal could have been impacted by COVID and the seller was concerned about how used car prices would react. I do agree if he waits a better deal can be made, but like you I looked a long time before pulling the trigger. If he likes the spec offer them a reasonable number and close the deal. If not it may be a while before another becomes available.

Timing has a lot to do with price but so does mileage in the early phase. Less than 1000 and less than 500 takes no mileage hit only second owner and age.

Cut points are above 1000 miles and then per 10000 miles.

In large enough series of transactions colors not important.

Options set the bar to depreciate from. As in the more options the harder depreciation. The price is higher but so is the depreciation.

No one wants to overpay but there is a range. In this phase of the 812- plenty of inventory, and late in model cycle with many moving to the GTS, market is very soft. There are new 812s on dealer floor. Mine has 2. Would they discount be more than 43k? Not likely.

To the OP, what’s it worth to you? Good colors, lightly optioned, great wheels. Does it move you?

For me I go for more. Ike’s and more depreciation since I drive my cars. Going from 2k-5 k is a better deal for me tha 200 miles with a new car like premium to 5k Miles discount when I sell. Or heaven forbid 10k miles. Pretty much worthless at that point

To me price is spot on plus minus 5-8k. Can ask for a reduction and see. At 50k off it is sold.

    Life’s short.

The SF is a dream car. It is surprising that this car can be had for 350-400K. I would grab it, especially since it is pre-GPF. Not saying you can't squeeze some concessions, just that you win in the long run if you own this model. Irrespective of the "deal".

Also important - only 1,000 units were sold into the US.

There won't be another one like it, as future V-12's (if they make them) will be eco-friendly. Or in the 550K range (GTS). Or by invite only (GTO).
