I'm not sure I understand the rationale. None was offered. Nor was there any warning. Or, if there was, it was a very short warning. It seems like it was just moved, and I assume it was moved to P&R. I'm not sure it was an entirely Political discussion, though. For the most part, I think things get moved appropriately, but in this case, I kind of wish the moderator who moved it hadn't, as I think it was more automotive related in substance than political.

Should mods have this power to act unilaterally? I'd like to know what the rest of you think. While it's Rob's site, it is a user community, and I don't think the mods should have unfettered power. JMO. Would it be unreasonable to ask for a poll of users before something gets moved into P&R? Majority requirement? Super majority?

    Any thoughts?

That doesn't answer the question 'WHY'......only 'WHERE'.....which means your answer isn't one.

Started to get political. P&R is probably the right place for it anyway, IMO.

And -this- is a Ferrari Discussion (not model specific) thread how, precisely?

    Don't feel too bad.

A moderator changed the title of my post because he didn't like my use of the word "Vandalism." I didn't make a big deal about it. And I do pay the $15.

It was P&R, not Ferrari related.

I moved it, just like I'm gonna move this one to Off topic.

And, I left a one day link in the original forum so anyone who is subscribed could find it.

I understand your point(s), all of you. I didn't really feel that it had gotten OTT political, though. Maybe the Ferrari Discussion (not model specific) wasn't the exactly correct place for it. Not sure where it should go (maybe Other Off Topic?), but I can certainly understand that it could get political and should eventually have ended up in P&R. It's certainly an interesting debate, regardless, and I had posted in it previously. Not sure I'd want to pay $15 to see if anyone had any follow up to my post, though. As for paying the $15, I'm disinclined, I suppose on this. I really don't feel compelled to participate to that extent. I think the majority of my posts add value (or at least I try and mean for them to do so), so I'm not sure why I'd want to pay to see what's in a couple of "pay only" discussions. But, that's for another thread!

Thanks for everyone's thoughts. Maybe swift and unchecked actions are necessary to avoid unnecessary vitriol by the masses. Anyway, it's moot, I guess.

    M. I was answering Corners' question "Any thoughts?" Take it easy. I actually enjoy his posts. It was well intended.
