I'm looking for information about the tie rod ends - part 4193223 and 4193224. Could they be 16x1,5 ? And also the width of cone and size of nut would be very helpful.

    Thanks,
    Arvid

The thread with the nut on is M14 x 1.5. Not sure about the other thread.

Thank You Sir :) I hope someone can supply the other data. I once had these measures somewhere regarding a cross reference list for parts. Can't seem to find it now when I need it...

Would also be nice to know the measures on the tapered end - both at top and bottom.

What are you trying to do? Find a cross reference? They are available aftermarket for about $200 a pair. You want less expensive than that?

Brian, one of my many joys in owning odd and special cars - besides doing the wrenching myself - is comparing their parts to other known brands. I've done this on all my cars so far and discovered that in many cases there is no such thing as special and expensive parts - just ordinary parts readily available from other suppliers. If you think this is quirky or cheap,so be it. It's part of the fun - for me at least ;)

Hi Arvid. Please crack on with your research :) I found the ones on my 308 were available for around £20 and I still want to change my 400 ones, but not at £80 each.

No as a hobby I get it. But if you were trying hard to source some because you needed some, then they’re easily attainable. Crack on.

Hi Arvid, Do you know of any replacement non-Ferrari timing sprockets? I may have to make my own but would prefer to buy them at non-Ferrari prices.
    Thanks!

Rick, I'm afraid I don't. I read Your post regarding that topic and at the same time checked the price for new ones. Horrible... I looked over pictures online of some similar period correct parts - but it's hard to say without comparing them side by side.

I only know of the upper sprockets - 100202 - at Hill Engineering. They are reasonably priced compared to the originals.
