    After 110,000 miles and 22 years, the stitching on the driver's seat bolster is giving out and the leather is starting to separate at the seams.

    I don't have much budget left after the nose respray, so I'm looking for economical and non-cheesy solutions -- so sheepskin covers are out.

    I will be taking it by the local place to see if they can repair it, but input is welcome. Alternatively, if someone knows of a black-interior low mile wrecked 328 that's being parted out...

    Looking ahead, I will face this too. I'm thinking Re-Originals may be the best solution. The covers are cut from the orig dies in Italy from the orig material. Matt tells of talented upholstery guys in his neighborhood that do excellent work and are more reasonable. So the plan would be to send him the seats.
