    Given that this is a Ferrari forum, this may not be the best place to ask this question but nevertheless, it has been frustrating me for several weeks. I have a 3 year old who is in a forward facing car seat (shortly to transition to a booster seat) and my wife is expecting twins (which will require two additional rear facing child seats). Does anyone know of any cars which will fit three seats in a row across the back bench? I tried in my wife's E class Mercedes and no dice. Any thoughts/info. would be greatly appreciated.

    You MAY be able to fit them across in a large SUV like an Expedition, but will most likely need something with a 3rd row.

    Congrats on the babies!

    +1 on that 3rd row. As they grow you will want them far away. They will want that as well. Ask me how I know.....;)

    Phaeton will do it - even has 3 anchors on the rear deck for child seats.

    Not sure if you have bought new car seats for your twins, but my wife and I recently bought the Combi Coccoro convertible car seat for our daughter. My wife and I use them in our Honda Fit and CR-V, and the seats take up minimal space. Here is a video of installation of three of the seats in the back of a compact car.

    Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Problem is all of the third row SUV's I've looked at so far is that in order to get into the third row you have to fold the second forward which you can't do if you have a car seat in that seat. I will happily check out the Phaeton. "dmnwlf" how do you like that Coccoro seat? I've seen that video but it doesn't seem like it comes with the infant carrier in such a small size. Also could only find one place that carriers it downtown. Does yours have a carrier?
