The ad for the Fiero/F50 says "serious buyers only". How serious could one be?

The F50 ad says something to the effect that it is a Real Replicar!! Is this similar to fake plastic?

Man, these are good for a laugh!

    :)

Okay, this is what it said:

"This is a real replica car."

Sheesh, the guy says he has his blood (eew), sweat (that's got to up the resale value), and tears (I'm sure plenty of those after he realized how much money he sank into that wonder!), I wonder if he's charging extra for that!

    :)

I've seen lots of Ferraris w/ a Ferrari engine & frame dressed w/ a more desirable skin. It may look to most like the real thing but its not. While all Ferrari, not at all authentic. I’ll stick w/ my V8 Z that I modeled after a 250 GTO but wear the “Z” badge & never try to hide the Chevy under the hood (duel supertraps).

    I always liked the well made/assembled 250 GTO/240Z kits....thought about one myself.

    I have owned a modified '72 240Z (worked @ FAR Performance at the time), a 69 911S, an '82 308GTSi and a 76 914.

If I could have just one of the above cars the rest of my life, it would be the 240Z no contest, followed by the 914.

The 308 would fall somewhere between my Saturn and my Hyundai.....

Very nice job, but can I make a suggestion?

I love what you've done with the front bumper, but I think the back would look better with a tiny white one as well, it would break it up a bit. I know going without one is more like the GTO, but it just strikes me that it would look better with one. Perhaps if you posted a bigger pic of the rear end I would understand it's current beauty better. But that's what I'd say for now.

    Best!

Can this be puchased with genuine replica money. Or better yet REAL monopoly money I suppose that would be about right considering your getting a Fiero with 100,000 miles on it.

There is never ever anything great about any replica. In fact the word great and replica should never go in the same sentence.

A replica is an infringement on copyright and intellectual property. Only replicas that are sactioned by the original producer or the owner of the intellectual property have a right to existance!

the one thing i never understand about these crap wagons is why their delirious owners don't try and do the interior somewhat like the actual car. Nobody is gonna believe your car is a true ferrari when all you did was slap a cheap grant wheel with a ferrari emblem into a stock fiero interior.

    terrible.
