    Hello

I will have to pass on next weekends Lenovo Grand Prix De France.

This circuit is visually disturbing. I'm not kidding, It's hard to watch.

The track has all the ambiance of a bus station and visually looks like a Bank of America advertisement.

    Sad. :(

Sounds like you are giving bus stations a bad name........

That awful place goes well with the ridiculous trophy they give to the GP winner: a plastic gorilla !!!

For Spa, it's down to the promoter probably, but then Le Castellet is also on thin ice on that subject, and may not survive for long.

I agree 100% and have felt this way since the first time I saw it. I’ll watch the race but it won’t be enjoyable simply because the track “decorations” offend the eye.

I will be on the GP live next week-end.
Hope this circuit is less visually disturbing when you are near the track ..

Why do I have the gut feeling that after the three week break, Mercedes will have solved all their issues and be back to their old, dominating self?

I agree with you on the track. its really hard to watch. I raced at Paul Ricard 3 times and also did the Elf Winfield school there in 1990... its changed so much you cant recognize it. Not to mention the heat - even in September, it was hot there.. I cant imagine how it will be this weekend.

I am not sure if teams are allowed to work during the summer break, which was introduced to give their staff a rest.

Correct. The factories will be very quiet - normally. With the budget limit now more so possibly.
