Hello everyone, I lost the little nut that holds the throttle linkage together (see pic). Any idea of where I could find a replacement that looks like the original? Thanks Image Unavailable, Please Login
I would try contacting Dennis McCann or Superformance (UK). I checked recently with Superformance regarding a small piece that was missing from my throttle linkage, and they had it. Also, Dennis seems to have lots of Dino bits; I'd try him too. Regards, Bob.
I know that nut! You'll also need a cotter pin which fits through two of the holes and sits in one of the nut's slots so that it doesn't back out. That is probably how it went missing in the first place. Dennis has always been great with these sorts of things. If you have a parts book with your car, look up the part number and you can see if Dennis has it in stock at www.allferrariparts.com. Maranello Concessionaires may have it as well. Cheers...Keith
I'm not certain, but I think you will find that this is exactly the same as the linkage end pieces on the 348 (and other models?). I have unscrewed the end cap on my 348 in order to remove the ball from the socket, it looks identical. I can remove it and photograph it if you wish to see it in detail. It would only take a few minutes. Or perhaps someone in your area has a 348? The threaded end cap piece does not show as a separate part in the 348 parts book, you have to buy the "spheric head" in either RH thread or LH thread, Ferrari part numbers 105617 and 105619.
