Anybody else watching this... one of my favs... OK, I'm one of those who finds quantum mechanics, string theory and big bang a relaxing evening.

Anyway, this week's episode had quite a bit of footage of a red 308 being driven by Dr. Valter Longo... Professor of Gerontology at USC.

He even opened the hood and used the motor as a prop in his explanation of oxidation. All in all, a great evening of TV.

I watched last night. I guess we were born a few decades to soon for a shot at immortality.

didn't catch that, I'll look it up.
if you really want to take a look under the 'hood' read Lee Smolins' "the trouble with physics".

I'll be honest and say I was a bit disappointed in where theoretical physics has ended up, the scientific method of falsifiability is useless with SUSY, ST and M-brane. And what's really telling is that you can not have any type of discussion about the possibility that ST is wrong, to do so tends to cause apoplectic shock in the physics community.
