What? That pricing is whack. The Hill Engineering bearing is a zillion times better than OEM and comes prefitted with seals. (always in stock at Ricambi) :

I'm guessing your 6-speed F355 has blown the butt end of it's TO bearing, eh? That won't happen again using this Hill Engineering item.

The Hill t.o. bearing for the 355 is the absolute way to go! Did mine a couple of months ago. Much stronger than oem and less expensive. Anyone not using the Hill piece (imo) is a fool.

Just a clarification on Ferraris 1600.00 price that is for the T.O. bearing, shaft and seals as a kit. The bearing alone is around 400.00 you wouldn't need the kit unless you have a damaged shaft. Ferrari uses the 360 bearing pt no. 201024 for non F1 355s and single disc 348s, this is the one with new blue seals vs the single black seals(I think you can still get the older bearing but what's the point). I would have to agree that the Hill bearing is probably better but I don't think it's much cheaper than ferraris newer 360 bearing. Anyway just passin' along info. Regards, Vern

Send F-chatter Plugzit a pm. He had the throw out bearing for a 348 rebuild by a shop here in Cali at a very reasonable price. If it's just the bearing that is out, I would rebuild it. If the housing has blow out, then get the Hill bearing from Dan.
