I'm looking for a pair of tickets to this year's F1 race in Japan. anyone have any leads on how i can safely secure tickets? any info on where/what/how/when would greatly be appreciated as well.. general admission tickets are my last resort. any tips? my first trip to Japan! I went last year and had a fantastic time. We sat in the grandstands at the hairpin and were able to see quite a lot of overtaking. Because of lack of hotels we had to stay in Kyoto (gorgeous city) and took the bullet train to Nagoya and then another to a town a few miles from the track. Total travel time I think was about an hour and a half. It'll take you longer than that to get from the track to the train station after the race though... SWEEETT ! i just got an email confirmation from my contact in Japan.. she was able to order tickets because of a cancellation. i'm set.. tickets are for E2.. seems like most seats are far from the track. i like to be up close. do i pack the 100-400mm lens or not.. oh.. now that the F1 tickets are taken care of, i gotta book a flight. priorities priorities.. cant wait to go !!! thanks all.
