ticking/clicking sound at idle

    please see attached video.

    near the end you can hear a clicking sound whiles it's idling.
    anyone have idea what this is?

    some feedback I have gotten elsewhere is that it's normal sound caused by the injectors.
    or that the lifter buckets have air in them?

    Hard for me to hear. A ticking sound can be an exhaust leak.

    Does the sound increase when you rev the engine? Stick one side of a vacuum hose in your ear and the other down by the injectors. That's a easy way to determine the location of pesky noises.

    Usually I first check for overnight destructor bananas in the tail pipe after every startup. :D Idle sounds normal but as revs start did you have the deck open to trace where noise might be coming from or is it only evident out the exhaust?
