    Dear Ferraristi,

I own a 2022 Ferrari 812 GTS and have recently noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine during cold starts. The sound typically begins about two minutes after starting the car and lasts for roughly three to four minutes before disappearing as the engine warms up.

I’ve taken the car to Ferrari service twice, and they reassured me that this is normal for V12 engines - likely related to the high-pressure fuel pumps cycling. However, I don’t recall hearing this noise when I first purchased the car new.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any insights or reassurance would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s a short video I recorded of the noise for reference: (YouTube Link)

My F12 does not make that sound. The background noise are cams and hydraulic lifters but the passenger side clicking sound I have never heard before. Maybe unique to the 6.5L version engine?
