    Colleague of mine at Jony Ive’s design firm [he’s collaborating on the design] says the car’s project name is “volta”, and will be more Taycan in design than mid-engined layout. Cannot confirm any of this officially, but there it is.

    Please note that Ferrari adds in the patent that “even though the figures do not show any IC Engine, it can be housed in the front part of the car or behind the rear battery pack”

    Doubt they will use that name once the car is done as Volta in the US is used by a car charging station company.
