Has anyone used the under chasis tie down points on a 355? I'm putting my beast on a trailer and can't seem to locate them. I don't want to use the suspension memers to wrap the straps around and I'd like to avoid using the wheels. I've heard that the poinst exist. Maybe the same on a 348?

    Thanks

I found it best to use D-ring straps around the frame at all four corners (frame area where the lower control arms mount) and using the ratchet straps from the d-rings to the floor rings.
There are no real tie-down areas built into the chassis.
There are also strap assemblies that go over the tires that work very well but I have never personally tried them on a close fender car like the 355.

Just make sure the tie-downs you buy are a high quailty, that makes all the difference.

    best regards, jim

I used regular tie down straps for a couple of years but was never happy with them. It's not easy to get the proper strap angles under such a low car without rubbing the body with the strap or rachet. I went with wheel straps on all 4 corners, the rachets are now out from under the car and it never moves the slightest bit even on the roughest roads.
