Having some cornering issues on my 360 spider.

When I mid accelerate on mild sweeping corners then come off the gas part corner, it feels like car is shifting under me (car tracks to the outside and I have to correct steering wheel a little, there is no tire oversteer/understeer happening as mild turn) - quite noticeable (but not not violently so) and doesn't feel right.

Tech is suspecting a ball tie rod (left rear) needs replacement after inspecting although indicates it's not heavily worn.

His only other suspicion is that the car has some LSD chatter/binding which may be related. I need to add more friction modifier to my redline gear box oil as only have 4oz in it currently.

Would a worn/problem ball tie rod cause such cornering issues?

What tires are you using? 360's can be sensitive to tire pressure, etc...

Bridgestone RE-11's front (36 psi) & Pirelli Pzero system rear (30 psi). Will be replacing rears with RE-11's in coming months.

If it's caused by worn tie-rod ends they should be easily identified. Jack up each corner and grab wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock positions and if there's play it's almost certainly the tie rod ends. If there is play, take the wheel off and do the same test and you'll almost certainly see and feel where the play is.
