    Dear community,

i am searching for the right tightening torque for all the 35 screws outside ot the original F512M rims.
I would like to unscrew them all in order to check and to clean the rims.
Until now i can´t because of the missing information about the tightening torque when putting all together again.
I am very thankful for your help and say thank you very much from France

I personally would be identifying the type of thread and dimensions and you will find torque settings based off that

A word of caution about removing and reusing the bolts. Some critical bolts (for example, cylinder head bolts) are designed to stretch when tightened to their recommended torque. This stretch keeps the part under constant pressure. Once the bolt is removed, the bolt will not achieve the same degree of stretch and pressure when reused. This might be the case for your wheel rim bolts. I suggest you check with a wheel restoration shop to see if they recommend reusing the bolts. If not, you might be better to leave them alone. If they say it's OK to reuse the bolts, they might also have a torque recommendation.

    I would echo wmuno - post 3.

I would be hesitant to remove those bolts and re-use them.
Although knowing the torque spec is a good idea.
FWIW I would not be hesitant to check (without loosening them first) their current torque.

Good luck with your project and research.

I highly recommend not doing this. There are a lot of those screws and the wheels are unobtanium. Too much risk for nearly zero benefit... and I am the king of anal.

NOPE .. NOPE..NOPE. you are hunting for problems. Do not loosen or remove those fasteners. If no issues with pressure loss..leave it alone. Idle hands are the devils play ground.. find somthing else to clean..

Not saying its the case here.. but if you do, make sure it goes back in the exact place. There will/might be wheel balancing and clocking positions issues otherwise.

Im also in the camp of leave it alone, and Use Q-tips instead
