I'm afraid I'll never be able to look at Glock the same way again, instead of being neutral, I'll always remember this day.

Kyle, it's a fact!! but your wasting your time with logic, they want somone to vent there angor out on.

PornoMax is the logical choice, but he helped Massa, where as Glock just did his best.

    Kyle and Steve:

I am all for invoking logic and trying to examine things dispassionately, but.... Yes, Glock was on dries but he completely changed his line through the corner to yield position to Hamilton. There were absolutely no signs that he "lost it" (e.g., front/rear tire break-away, steering wheel reaction, etc). An F1 driver of his caliber does not drive for that length of time and then make a rookie mistake like that on the last corner, of the last lap, of the last race. In addition, the last corner was not one of the difficult, slippery corners on the track. However, in any event, I don't envy his position. No matter what he did, he would have been a pariah to someone.

Who is spreading these stupid rumours about Glock at McLaren in 2009?

Scott believe me I watched this back a few times now, IMO he was looking for the dry line whether or not it was the racing line or not I'm not 100%, However one thing I'am sure of is that when LH and another driver overtook him, if you watch closely on the footage you see Glocks FRONT wheels lose grip and he has to quickly adjust, yes they broke away, and he is still going slowly. He was just on the wrong tyres it's that simple, had the rain not come down he would not have been in that position anyway. He took a chance and it nearly paid off, and incidently he did still gain from it.

I created this thread as a joke.... but since you posed the question.... wouldn't Hamilton+Glock make a better team than Hamilton+Kov?

If Ron Dennis had his way, I think he would just run 1 car in 2009. (Hamilton).

Ron doesn't seem to give a sh%t about any of his other drivers. I don't think I've ever heard an interview with Ron Dennis where he commented on Heikkis driving.

Ron Dennis talks about Lewis Hamilton 24/7. Maybe he should finally adopt Lewis as his own step-son?

You remind me of this joke from the 80s, where a kid thought that the apple (fruit) was named after the Apple computer. :)

Or this other old joke: "Isn't it ironic that Lou Gehrig died of Lou Gehrig's disease?"

Maybe the 9mm Glock was named after a guy named Glock? :D

Just how and when was this bribe offered?

Did McLaren approach every driver before the race and say "IF you happen to be ahead of LH at the end and IF Felipe is leading and IF you are in fifth place and LH is right behind you in sixth then we'll give you X to let LH pass"? Or realising what was happening on the last lap did they dash down to the Toyota garage and invite them to radio their man to offer a bribe?

    Get real.
