About the Tim Horton Children's Foundation Charity

The Tim Horton Children's Foundation was established in 1974 by Ron Joyce, Co-Founder of the Tim Hortons chain, to honour Tim Horton's love for children and his desire to help those less fortunate.

The Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to providing a fun-filled camp environment for children from economically disadvantaged homes. Year-round, local children are selected from each of the communities in which a Tim Hortons store operates, giving thousands of children the opportunity to attend one of our camps.

Children living in economically disadvantaged homes often do not have access to supports that develop positive life skills. With 1 in 6 children across Canada and the United States living in an economically disadvantaged home* , the Tim Horton Children's Foundation provides opportunities for these children to develop into positive, contributing members of their communities. The Tim Horton Children's Foundation camp experience is designed to give children confidence in their abilities through participation in challenging programs. They experience pride in their accomplishments as they succeed in attaining their goals, and they gain a positive view of this world and their future in it.

This year the Foundation will serve close to 16,000 children from economically disadvantaged homes. Together we are truly making a difference.





Donation Levels:

We will continue with the Multi-Tiered Prize - Donation Packages; featuring limited edition Tim Horton Children Foundation (THCF) gifts, based on the donation level.

We will have a THCF registration form at the event, which you can fill out, and you will be sent a receipt by the Foundation.

I understand that the FCA Cancer Cruise is the weekend following the Tim Hortons Cruise ... is this an issue with anyone, having a cruise two weekends in a row?

I've updated the roll call, and I'm planning on ordering the Donation Gift Packages on Thursday ... so if you've been lurking around on this thread, and you are planning on attending ... let me know ASAP.

Looks like a great group of cars coming on this years cruise!

Weather should be amazing as well, and the route is going to be a lot of fun.

One hiccup has been our Donation Gift Packages ... due to supplier error ... we were short shipped a number of items, but we will be reworking our gift packages to deliver equal value of some really cool Tim Hortons Swag!

Thanks to all the Ferrari and Lambo guys that were able to make it out to the cruise yesterday ... weather was amazing ... lot's of cool cars ... and we raised over $5,000.00 for the Children's Foundation :thumbup:
