Yup, ready to jump back in again.

After 7 years with a 328, and 2 years Ferrari-less, I've been bitten by the bug.

    348 shopping...

    It's here! My new/old 1993 Ferrari 348ts Serie Speciale.

Arrived yesterday afternoon...I made arrangements to meet the Intercity driver in a nearby parking lot that had enough room for the huge rig.

First impressions - this thing is gorgeous! Can't believe it's 22 years old. Driving is VERY different from my 328...much more get up and go, heavier clutch, tighter steering. Controls will take some getting used to...went to fill it with gas, and couldn't find the gas door release! Then once I did find the button in the center console (a non-sticky center console, by the way,) it turns out it needs electric power to work! Okay, better take some time to actually read the manual for this car...

Got it home, maneuvered down my expert slope driveway, safely tucked it away in the garage. Tomorrow, it's off to Automotive International for a service and to deal with a few minor things (power mirror switch, wheels facing the wrong way, etc.)

It feels GOOD to be a Ferrari owner again! There is no substitute!
