Keep in mind I am young, I have been looking at a certain Chrysler 300c (pic), an 03' E320, cayenne, or if I wait a while longer I could get an 03' Range Rover...

    Any suggestions?

Has anyone had issues with an 03' range rover?

    hmm, at most low 40's.

The Range Rover would be more of a special purchase, because its hard to find any in the low 40's...

Even though its a little more than your budget, definitely check out the Infinite M35. I'm trying to convince my mom to get one as her next car.

Too bad it wont be a 6 speed, instead it's restricted to paddle shifting. Granted that paddle > fully auto, but I still don't understand what Lexus is thinking on this one, saying that there is not enough market for a MT, quoting that only 5-7% of their target audience is looking for a six speed tranny. Are they really willing to sacrifice 5-7% of their sales because they cannot fit the new IS with a 6 speed? They claim to be able to topple the 3 series with this car, but without an available 6 speed, I don't think it can be done.

I hope they can go ahead and make a coupe out the M design, I've seen a few chops of what others think an M/G combo would be like, and it looks great! Thanks to KnightRiderV (g35driver) for this photoshop!

    18, I drive a 2002 S500.

I'm not worthy yet of a Ferrari, too young...

I've never been too big on the IS300 Lexus, or really any...

    Infiniti, same thing...

And that Range Rover site turns me away.... :(

It's tough because I know a number of people with them and haven't had problems....

If you're in Newport Beach, do you have a specific reason to only be looking at large machines? Do you carry the bridge club around? Are you trying to out-mass the other vehicle in an inevitable collision?

If it's just you and sometimes a single passenger, why not go for a car that's easier to maneuver and park in a city?

And one that has a better chance to drive around the accident ...

Well what don't you like about the S500? That's a pretty tight car. If you're just looking for something that isn't such an old-man-mobile, why not mod out an STI exactly how you want?

I love the S500, I do want to get rid of it before the new body style comes out....

And no I don't carry around the bridge club.; I just have always liked the Range Rover..

You could get an '02 Merc E55 for that price. Great car. Umm......could find a Supra, 350Z, or something of that nature and trick it out to your liking. Perhaps a 300C SRT8? Just some thoughts.

I would be thinking second hand 911, Elise, Supra, NSX, or a sedan with gobs of forced induction.

Insurance will probably be close to the same given your age and the $$$ amount of the car.
