    Hello fellow Lambo enthusiasts I am a recent addition to your fine line of exotic automobiles, as some of you might know I have been part of the Rebel Alliance (Ferrari owner) for some time now (don't hate me, at least not yet:D)but was soon seduced by the Dark side and was able to buy my dream car.

    I have just purchased a 98 Diablo Roadster, Titanium silver with snowcorn white interior. I have been in love with this car since I first laid eyes on it back in 96, the color is my favorite and the interior is to die for.

    Again I am new to the Lambo world so be gentle :eek: I am reading and learning all I can, always doing my homework along the way ;). I hope I can contribute to this section and make all of you proud lol

    Now....this is the Lamborghini forum...not silver. I expect to see many pix with hot babes draped over your Lamborghini DIABLO VT ROADSTER !!

    BTW guys, Roberto owns a night club soo...this car will be parked out front looking sooo at home.

    Ferraris are parked at a concours or garage. Lamborghinis are parked in front of cool night clubs....or strip clubs... :D

    I thought you bought a 97.5...not a 98??

    I have a Black 99 VT Roadster which has been at the spa (ZR Auto) over the winter getting spoiled. The Diablos are amazing! You will not have any regrets.

    I hope to see you on some ZR cruises this summer.

    Yes I did to a local car enthusiast, he does not like getting on Computers but I am trying to make him join the Brotherhood.

    If it wasn't dark enough it is now :cool: he he he

    Hi I definitely will try, with my line of work it is difficult to get away especially over weekends. But I do make it up to Calgary all the time I would love to see your car :). I have two sisters that live there and my GF is now the new general activity/sponsorship coordinator for Penny Lane (Cowboys Casino/nightclub) she use to work for cowboys a ways back you might remember her as the most photo Sunshine girl :). Needless to say I will be up there lot's. Who knows I might have to give Paul V a run for his money ha ha ha ;)

    Ya it is a 97.5 I hate saying that so I say 98 :)

    Leave it to Shamile, he is and can be helpful but he can't get girls off the brain for too long ... and this time I must agree. Pictures in front of you club a definite!!

    Maybe one day I will join the dark side . I think about it from time to time then I open my eyes and the light returns

    Awesome, awesome car!!!

    I guy I know had one of these but sold it recently, he was telling me it is very rare in convertible, I have only very limited knowledge of Diablo's but I was lucky enough to go for a ride in his while he had it, the torque is amazing!

    Oh, you'll HAVE to refer to it as a 97.5 A 98 and a 97 are very different cars.

    Hey Roberto, I got your call last night.....11:48pm EST....I didn't answer it as I was on the dance floor for Ladies nite at a club I go to.

    To answer your question, your 97.5 does have an alarm....the stupidest one ever made. It's called the MED 2000 It's a passive system with no siren. It will...when activated, blink the flashers for a few seconds....stop and keep cycling them till the system is turned off by the remote. ONLY the remote can turn it off.

    The system is sooo passive, it doesn't have the fuel shut off of the 98 or and ignition disable. Sooo...you can still start and drive the car...with the alarm system activated...flashing signals.

    BTW, don't lose that code card in the envelope. You CANNOT buy a new coded remote or have it coded to your system. If you lose anything, you will have to buy a new system brain with new codes....$ 1500.00

    Hey Officer...someone just stole my Lamborghini! Look...he's driving away with it now...but the alarm is working.....see the flashers are still going off... :D

    What!!!! Oy Vey you have got to be kidding lol I thought Ferrari was the only one to make stupid alarms systems, looks like it is inherit to the country, just like sticky interiors :D

    Roberto,It always made me smile thinking about when you step to the garage and hit the lights and that nice renovation you showed us comes to life!!!!! The Lambo is beautiful (love that interior) anyway are you gonna have to do a major redo? I guess the Italian colors can stay, but didn't you have a Ferrari badge painted on the floor? Otter

    Never put one on the floor but I did on the walls. I was always thinking ahead though and kept one wall free just in case, I only covered it with Ferrari flag. I have a giant lambo emblem on it's way as we speak :). Beside that I also have this Bull Head from when I owned a Country Bar, it's 4ft high and 8ft wide tip to tip, glowing red LED eyes and shoots smoke out of ti's nose.:D It will be my show piece as I drive in ha ha ha

    Come to one of my Parties and take some of your own :D
