It is time to sell my 2002 575M, ZFFBV55A120129068. I bought this Argento Nurburgring 575 with black interior and silver stitching in December of 2013.. It had been owned by a forum member from 2006 to 2013 and usually serviced at Algar in Philadelphia averaging 1200 miles a year. He traded it in at Naples Motorsport for a 2009 SCUD. It was then purchased by a person from Denver who decided after a few months that he preferred a BMW. It came to me with 13,970 miles and now has just under 26,700 miles on it. Service I do most DIY on my cars. For the 575 the exception was F1 fluid changes and replacement of clutch sensor and TO bearing which was done by San Rafael European. I usually changed oil, oil filters, brake fluid, and coolant every year to year and a half. Drain valve added on engine block for coolant drain. F1 fluid flushed in 2016, 2019, and 2023. Clutch 26% worn at 2023 F1 fluid flush. Power steering fluid replaced in 2015, 2020, 2022 and 2024. Rear differential fluid replaced in 2015, 2019, 2022, and 2023 Droopy sun visor fixed in 2014. Coolant hoses replaced with Scuderia Rampante silicon hose kit in 2017. Timing and auxiliary belts changed and cams degreed in 2017, then timing and auxiliary belts replaced in December 2020. Auxiliary belts replaced in 2023. Timing belts due at end of this year. Fuel injectors calibrated in 2017. Clutch sensor and TO bearing replaced in 2018. A leaking F1 hose replaced in 2019. One MAF replaced in 2021. Two power steering hoses replaced in 2022-2023. Broken seat rear height cables replaced in 2023. Engine mounts replaced this year. Two water temperature sensors replaced and valve covers were powder coated in February of this year. All sticky items reworked by StickyRX in 2023. Cabin air filter and engine filters replaced in 2023. New tires, Michelin Pilot Super Sport, and TPMS units just installed. Lower valance repaired and repainted satin black recently. Equipment Exhaust system is stock. The following items from Scud ING Swiss were installed: a. ILUAL36 EURO LED Rear Lights Package b. EMT - Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU c. here is build sheet and sticker. I bought this before I retired in June 2014 and commuted about 2 days a week in it , but then primarily used it for Starbucks runs every day, or errands around town during covid when I was working on the xk8 engine. I’ve said it before Steve, this is a lovely example and I think the level of care and attention you have given the car under your stewardship has been commendable. Should give the next caretaker of the car a long happy experience. GLWTS! Ps pricing seems very reasonable in the current market.
Oh my Goodness. I heard something was coming down the pike along these lines. Wow, if I were to do it all over a I might…and I love my car. The stewardship is worth so much more than folks generally understand.
These 575s seem downright cheap compared to the 550s and SAs I've seen sell recently. I think the prices for these will be regarded as absolute bargains very soon. This one seems exceptionally well cared for and should not disappoint the new owner. A great deal at silly low money. Someone here should definitely pick this one up!
Wonderful machine, Steve. Love the long term ownership and consistent service. An honorable custodian! -Joe

That yellow is gorgeous . I never saw one when I was looking ten years ago. I wish there was service documentation for these auction cars.
That was a deal, especially after watching the video and finding out more about Micoli. What a cool guy. A much cooler Danny Devito lol. And what a businessman. And yes, these 575s appear to be deals like the car listed here. GLWS.
Actually there were more than one deal at this auction based on recent prices I think. I noted a 275, with the wrong nose sold for 1.2 or 3 recently? I know just the body man to fix it, he did the bodywork on the Charlie Nearburg GTO, showed up in our home town in SC. Go figure.
Steve After reading all the history, I just realized this was Andrew’s car The both of you took great car of this 575. It all ready for the next new owner .
