    The title may be a bit deceptive but so is the thought behind this post. I finally turned 100K plus on my 308 yesterday. I figure what I'll do now it post it on eBay as the lowest mileage 308 known to exist. As long as everyone here keeps quiet I think it might work! Actually I also wound up driving it in the rain so that probably wipes out the gains of having such a low miles car!! Didn't have a chance to stop right at all 00000's but did manage to snap this pic with only 31 miles on the clock (although it is a lousy pic!!).

    Of course I hope everyone realizes that I am joking about this!!!

    I can't believe that speedometer made it to 100K without breaking! :)

    Ah but the give away to your scam is that the trip odometer has 872 miles on it!

    John,
    I promise I won't tell.:p

    For the rest of you folks;
    On one drive I chased John in my own 308 and even with 90k on his it still hauled ass. I could gain very little if at all.
    Proof that these engines are TOUGH if maintained properly.

    Thanks,
    It had just under 90K when I bought it. If I hadn't had it apart for the better part of 2+ years this moment would have come a long time ago.

    Not so fast, we need to get yours back on the road first!!

    Actually it didn't! The case broke when I was taking it out to re-do the interior! :)

    I noticed that when I went to post the pic. I thought about resetting it but forgot to!!

    As I seem to recall I was actually pulling away from Old-slow-yellow! ;) Either way it still goes pretty well even though I'll probably never be able to sell it now that most folks consider it trash. :)
