No weddings on Saturday and a corp. shoot tonight, Sunday is wide open. By the way, Maria and I, MARIA (no one get that wrong), will be there and we were thinking of trying to see a show sometime during that day and just buying the tickets and hangin out. So if anyone else would be up for hangin', maybe a musuem, a walk down 5th ave or the park let me know. We're both game!
Down to, actually. Black355's car is being serviced, and notoboy's TR can't attend. There is the possibility of an additional car or two, but those are "maybes" and so they don't go on. Six 355's. Six 360's. An F-40. Challenge Stradale's. Old. New. All the Ferrari color's under the son. Yowzers! - you boyz better come up with some good color / model formations for the pictures. As we loop around to the East Side, given that the tunnel may be dicey, do you guys want to take a bridge to get out of Manhattan. If so, which one? Williamsburg?
OK so I've been asked by a few people already how they can get the shots I take (if they are good) after the TSS. I will bring my laptop so if you want the pictures right after the TSS bring some burnable CD's of your own and I will burn them right afterwords. May take a half hour or so to turn the Canon files into Tiffs and Jpegs because my laptop is slow, but at least you'll get them! But if you use them, please represent......
all other cars will not be not allowed other then f cars in the formation photo what has happened to noah no show? I have already have like five people read this thread and want to join in on the photo this is only a ferrari photo session EC style no offense against anyone porsche, bmw, corvette and so on want to be in the photo rent a ferrari for the day at www.gothamdreamcars.com
if we have any 'unwanted' cars that are not willing to move if parked in our designated spot....I will personally photoshop the car out of the picture. Gone with the wind suckas
fwerf to what buttuz/hubie said. nothing but ferraris allowed. we are taking the tunnel. its direct and outbound will not be a problem.
i am taking the williams urg zen if one of us getts stopped we will be late for the concourse and i need to be there right when it starts to film the whole show
Easiest entry from the FDR is on the Brooklyn bridge, but if we loop from the East, it's also the furthest away. I vote that in our "One Lap of Manhattan" we exit Times Square to the West, take the west side highway South, loop through the Battery Park City Underpass in a low gear and high rev (perhaps we all queue up in front of the driveway at the World Financial Center?), hop on the Brooklyn Bridge, BQE north, LIE West... - 5 minute stop at W00dear's From there, someone else can navigate to breakfast. The downside to this Manhattan lap plan is: - The West Side Highway has traffic lights so we are bound to get split up - The road in Brooklyn that connects the bridge to the BQE is, shall we say, not that smooth Other thoughts?
everyone with other cars then f, i know the rules about the shootout , just be there to check them out guys relax
emil, great plan, but i still think the midtown tunnel is better. it will hold up traffic for everyone else to catch up if they are stuck at lights.
So the front plate issue is worse going into the city rather than out? I might have to use my front plate mounting invention... lol.
