    Hi All,
I'm in the process of replacing the timing chain and sadly all the drive gears are extremely worn as is the tensioner. It looks like the chain tension has never been adjusted in the 96,000+ K the car has been driven.
Is there a good source for these gears? I'm seeing crazy prices on line and wondering if there are aftermarket or other than Ferrari replacements available. Any help would be appreciated.

I think they are such low volume parts that replacement will always be expensive.
But Ferrari did not really tried hard to make these gears of good quality. They are originally made out of cheap and soft metal and if you compare the dimensions you just can't stop laughing (or crying).
I had some of them remanufactured at a specialized shop from good material and after that I had them nitrided to give them a tough surface. That was for about the same price as you'll see them advertised. So it could be an idea walking into a shop specialized in that kind of work and you'll migh even be cheaper off.

Thank you for the information, Stefan. I have a machinist who can replicate these sprockets but I was hoping there might be an off-the-shelf replacement from another manufacturer.

Agreed with Stefan, the garage which takes care of my cars have had the gears made by a local factory specialised in industrial gears cutting (one of their activities is around gears for competition cars gearboxes). My garage is on their third timing assembly restauration for 365 GT4 2+2 and 400.
