488 Tint or no tint?

Well you have silver wheels and a light interior, so I would say ‘murdered out’ is out. If you tint at all you will lose the external visual effect of that light interior, so personally, I’d leave it as is, but then I am an OEM kind of person. I am sure others will be along shortly with a different opinion.

I’m voting for a light tint but nothing on the rear. Gotta see that engine in all its glory.

I would say go for a light reflective tint. Not a dark one. the reflective tint will help keep the heat out but wont make the car look all black, which is overdone anyway.

 

+1 - a light tint to limit UV damage to the interior.

I don't like tint. My car came with it, and I paid to have it removed, it cheapened the look to me. I like to be able to see the interior beauty as well. Plus the tint affects visibility.
Tint is also easy to damage/scratched if you aren't careful, and ruins over time (sometimes turns purplish), and can be a pain to remove if left on too long.
Too many negatives for my liking.
I just use the windshield sun shield to protect against the sun when parked.
But of course everyone has different tastes and needs, so you have to do what you like, not what everyone else likes.

I went with the light tint on all windows, including the windscreen. Found, not distraction, even at night. Also, it protects the interior of the car when left in direct sun. Just check with your local state laws, which tint is acceptable. I know many states view the darker tint, as illegal, especially on windscreen.

 

I would say no tint because you have light wheels and light interior. Car looks great as is. I'm not getting a murdered out vibe from it so tint in my opinion wouldn't add much.

 

definitely not a "murdered out" type of spec.. i'd say either no tint or light tint. No tint on the engine glass!!
