I have been awaiting my F8 Tributo delivery for a year. Now she is on the cargo crossing Atlantic Ocean, I have been preparing my garage etc. I have secured my spot to get PPF and coating, and I am debating if I should tint windows or not. Wondering your recommendations (good/bad/ best practice) from experienced people.

Absolutely get tint. Even if it’s not for looks, functionally it will protect your interior leather from UV.

Also, it just gives the car a more sinister appearance. Mine is 25% 3M tint:

Tint it please! 35% Ceramic, not too dark, but adds sexy to every car.

Thanks! Your car looks gorgeous! Do you know % of your tint?

I like the way your car looks. I think I will do something similar.

Get the windshield done too with the UV rejecting tint to help keep the cabin cooler and protect your dash/sticky parts.

20% was too dark for me. It hid my beautiful interior and was unsafe for night driving (IMO and comfort level). I then went with 35%; much better but I may go lighter still; 50% perhaps. Here is the car with 35%. Note the side window view looking in (passenger's side) and looking out (driver's side).

Image Unavailable, Please Login I bought my CPO from Ferrari Scottsdale, with full “Arizona tint” that’s way darker than I would have ever chosen personally. And I love it.

Always, always, always, tint your windows. The darkness level is your preference, but always tint to prevent UV light from destroying your interior. If you don’t like it dark, 75% tint is almost like clear - it’s as if you didn’t tint, but it will block 99% UV rays!
