I have seen photo's of some 355's with tinted rear lights, are these available as an aftermarket part or is someone applying tint to the factory lights?

Any thoughts on how this process takes place would be great.

Go and see your local paintshop. ;);)

They can paint the lense to get that tinted look. My mate here does it and he can vary the darkness of the tint. :D:D

You need to get "VHT NightShade" spray tint.
Just remove the tailights, sand them down, and spray them..
the amount you use will vary the darkness of the tint.

I've done it on many cars and it works great.
Lights off = Black; Lights on = Red

    Keep us posted.

Good thinking brother, I was wondering if it was just sprayed on....

I have used that stuff many years ago and the finish was ok, considering I was a novice and didn't exactly take my time. I might just buy a set of lenses and give this a shot....

Call Patrick at FerrParts, they get 355/360 smoked aftermarket taillights imported from europe somewhere, way cheaper than stock, and you cant tell the difference.
