    Hi, guys.

In preparation for the Keeneland Concours, I pulled the carbon fiber covers the previous owner had placed over the ashtray, shifter panel and A/C panel. They came off pretty much unscathed, and goof-off did is doing a terrific job getting all the sticky off. Even the original Ferrari sticky the previous owner was covering up.

My question is about a tiny light next to the shifter. It had been covered by the carbon fiber plate. What is this light? There are two wires, blue and red which are attached under the bulb but are unconnected otherwise. It's pretty obvious they go to the white connector but it's not clear where they connect. Can anybody help me with this?

    Thanks,

    Geno

I don't have one in my TS. Could it be the indicator light of an aftermarket alarm?

Looks like it is aftermarket. Please confirm if you know it has to be.

Now what do I do for the Concours? Do you think I can patch it after removal? I wonder what that plate will cost from Ricambi. Anybody have the part number?

I could leave it and hope its not noticed.

Hmmmm..... What to do ..... What to do .......

    It's an aftermarket alarm system.

I live about 30 minutes from you if you ever want to see another Spider. When is the Keeneland Councours????

    The Concours is Saturday, Aug 25th, 9 - 4pm.

    See keenelandconcours.com for details.

Are you in Lexington? I lived there my 1st 34 years. Actually, I moved way way out Todds Road into Clark County, hence the Winchester address, but I still pend alot of time in Lexington.
