Don’t do a PPI, nothing good will come from that. Buyers want to think your car is perfect and ready to go. It’s no different than selling a house, really. A list of issues is s real buzzkill. To that end, it’s simple:

    - Fix everything that’s broken/subpar
    - Do any due maintenance
    - Return any mods to stock (on Ferraris exhausts are ok)
    - Lose the shields (unless they’re factory?)
    - Get a great detail
    - Take great pics of car and all maintenance records.
    - Be honest and transparent

Any money you spend you will make back.

Ps, as with dating I think the “less history, more mystery” approach is always better. In an ideal world I think it’s better if there are no pics or threads of/about your car online for buyers to peruse. Buyers don’t want to see your fat ass and your ugly wife/husband/mistress in the car at Sonic posing with the car and a hotdog. You want to make it seem like your car has been parked in a vault until it came up for sale.

Well, start by doing the opposite of your ad. "I don't love it." and "I've been trying to enjoy it... but can't figure out what I'm missing", followed by screenshots of a bunch of error codes reads like the saddest ad I've ever seen for a Ferrari. Whatever you think of the F355 is irrelevant. Clean it up into a nice example and sell it to someone who does appreciate it. Have someone detail it and have a pro take some nice pictures.

The headers and muffler have nothing to do with your CEL codes. The codes are related to cats, so they are either the cats or o2 sensors or you may have a leak in the system (your cats are aftermarket and look based on the one BaT pic that sort of shows them like they're also Tubi). I would get that aspect of the car sorted out and then offload it. $93k is going to be a stretch given the mileage and condition -- especially the rust on the sills.

Don't do a PPI to have on hand for buyers - a buyer should get their own PPI done. As a buyer I would prefer to do my own as who knows if the seller's buddy did the PPI, etc.; better for the buyer to get their own independent PPI.

However, having one done as a Pre-Sale Inspection can be a good idea. It gives you the opportunity to see what the car needs and correct things before putting it up for sale. Depending on what those needs are, it might not help maximize the sale price to do everything, but it would be good to know what its needs are, fix what makes sense to fix before a sale, and be transparent with a buyer. That is what I would do.

    Great advice ^

    Don’t do a PPI
Serious potential buyer will get their own PPI
Do a few things, send all your sticky parts to StickyRX, refinish the drivers seat side bolster
And replace the radio with the Sony original unit if already replaced
And get the car professionally detailed with paint correction
    Just my 2 cents

Your reason for selling is horrible. You're vague and this leaves a potential buyer to seriously wonder if there is something wrong with your car after reading 2 sentences.

Most of your pics are in the garage and only show the passenger side. This tells everyone you couldn't be bothered to take the car out in the sun and do a proper photo shoot from all angles.

I look for details and clues. All of your top-down pics show the top exposed with no tonneau cover. A 355 Spider owner who drives around like this is not likely to be very meticulous with other things. And, when buying a 355, you want to buy from an OCD type.

Get the car nicely detailed and take a ton of pics with the best quality camera you have. Explain the car's story. Itemize all the maintenance you've done. Address the hot issues like when the last major was done, etc.

No, actually when people sell a used Toyota Corolla they don't take 5 pictures of it from the same angle because they're too lazy to pull it away from the corner it was parked in. Can I suggest just taking it to CarMax?
