    This tire calculator is not protected, so be careful not to change the formulas. Use at your own risk. :) Obviously I have no way to calculate wheel clearance on your vehicle or rim diameter. General rule of thumb is that if the tire width is more than 1" over your rim size you are playing with fire.

    Better than a rule of thumb, once you're ready to buy a brand & size of tire, go to the mfr website (or the Tire Rack usually has links to this stuff) and check the datasheet, it'll tell you the approved rim sizes.

    Also note that, with a load on it, the tire will roll about a smaller radius, so you can take that diameter and multiply it by about 97% to get the static loaded radius.
