Hi, What hot tire pressure do you aim for with your 360 on track day? Ambient 80-85, track temp 70-85, stock wheel and tire size, stock alignment. Bridgestone RE11's. Forza, David
I don't have anything specific for a 360. But the rule of thumb is over is better than less. Good luck. Dale
I would recommend no higher than 35 psi. I have not tracked those tires but would not want to get too high for reasonable traction. You might check with Tire Rack or one of the Ferrari Challenge teams. Slicks are best around 30 to 32 on a Porsche Cup car. You will probably have to lower pressure after you start. Maybe someone on the board has tracked Bridgestones. The RE-11 is a very good tire. Have fun.
Thanks for the input. I ran her today, and I did keep lowering the pressure. On my old 964 Cup-style club race car I liked my R6's pretty low. I probably could have put the RE11's lower still... Hot pressures stayed at 35-36. Fun car on the track, even dead stock. Easily into the 2:40's at Sebring without pushing. Forza, David
The RE-11s seem to have a high pressure cliff (maybe not too different from other tires). Yesterday at track, they got really greasy when they approached 40 psi hot towards end of sessions (started cold at 32). Lowered pressures to 26 cold and after a couple of warm up laps, they gripped well all through a complete session. Was a bit worried fronts might have been rolling over at that low a pressure, but got consistent grip. Just remember to refill them for street afterwards.
