Today, I had four new tires mounted on my 308. The owner's manual and tire specs suggested 33 PSI cold. I live at 6500' above sea level and 90% of my driving is between 5000' and 7500' above sea level. Even the dealer that mounted the tires was at 5000'. Should any adjustments be made to the tire pressures to adjust for altitude?

Whatever your gauge shows is the differential between what's in the tire and ambient.

+1. The tire gauge reads "gauge pressure", ie, pressure above barometric pressure. 33psig (gauge pressure) at sea level is the same as 33psig at any other altitude.
