I just completed the installation of 17" 348 Wheels on the 308. Almost new tires came with the wheels. The front are P Zero 215/50ZR17's and the rear are 255/45ZR17's. I don't have a clue what recommended tire pressures are. No info on Pirelli''s site except for max pressure.

    Anybody got a recommendation?

What does the max pressure on the website and on the sidewall say? That is a good start for your upper limit, but I don't think that much is nearly neccessary.

My Goodyear's max are 51 (almost the same size), but I have them at 35. Seem to be wearing evenly. It will probably take some experimentation to find the wear and ride best for your setup. One way is to see what the load rating is for the max pressure, multiply by four, then multiply by the percentage of your vehicle weight.

Example: Say max load at 50 PSI is 1200 lbs. Times four is 4800. Your car only weighs about 3000 lbs. or .625 of the max. .625 of 50 PSI is 31.25 PSI. Maybe start around 32 PSI in this example, but use your numbers and weight.

Can we see a picture? Sounds unique.

Here's the pix. Spacers from Hill engineering. Fast delivery, great quality. If anybody is interested, I'll post how I determined the final spacer thickness, based on a lot of input from Paul Hill.

That looks really nice. I think the wheels look better than they do on the 348.

I know this does not transpose directly to your 308 but I have found 33 psi perfect on my p zero's on my 575.

Sharp eyes. I didn't realize they were asymmetrical. Duh. The correct rotation must promote brake cooling. Thanks for the tip.

Guess that means tire rotation is contraindicated.
