    Hi all,
have been gone for 8 years and just took delivery of a 4,500 mi. 08 F430 spider. The dealer installed new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires and I was wondering what the consensus was on pressures.
The quick Ref. guide says 32psi F, 35psi R. The door jam says 36psi all around.

    thanks

The 36 psi is listed on door jam probably because original tires were run flats. My 07 has the same 36 on door jam.I run 33 front and 35 rear

Are you on PS4s or PS4Ss? There's quite a difference.

My 430 Spider is on PS4Ss. I tried various pressure combinations and settled on 33 all round. Feels a lot more settled than 34 all round. But it's a bit about personal taste and driving style also.

I have the pirelli p- zeros. Live in south Florida. Run them at 30 cold all around. They heat up to around 33 after some warm up driving. Seems perfect to me

I noticed the suspension is stiff on these cars, and with pressures above 32 or so it is very tough on pot holes... at least in MA here. I run 31 all around, it heats up to 34 or so... but my tires are 7 y.o so kinda of stiff and dry now... needs new ones next year.

My Porsche’s tires were wearing the outsides only -at suggested pressures (various models) and correctly stated installed tires. My mechanics for those cars are/were legends, they as a whole told me to run 42 or so in back 34-36 in front of. I used to chase F1 bikes on Mulholland from Mai I canyon to

chased F1 and bikes powered by dynamite fuels from Malibu canyon to the coast via the rock shop

I hit the go button by mistake. Anyway it’s the LOSS of centrifugal force at our (US?A) dictated speeds. By inflating to those pressures my rears and fronts went 10-15k miles. I was doing a lot of picking and grinning during most weeks so when I was home I raised hell

Naw in the late 70’s-85 I ran the he’ll outta those hills

in the panzers I ran mobil one and had since it cam out during my SAAB story times. The SOB’s don’t float
